Rugby
Saturday a bunch of tough and awesome guys (that would be me and some friends) went to a Rugby match for the first time ever. No worries, neither of us on the field as it was the national match between Scotland and Australia. With a victory of 12-23 for Australia the results couldn’t have been better. The game it self though was a bit of a disappointment as it showed far too much resemblance with the cold war: – FAR TOO FEW CASUALTIES. I expected high packed action, injuries, children crying, and 68.000 drunken Scottish people screaming of hatred towards the Aussies. Despite the lack of body armour, the doctors were only called to the field twice during the game, and not even a single child was crying. So it can therefore only be concluded that rugby is a game for girls and French people! (Take that Benjamin) But besides from these significant flaws of the match, it was a very cool experience to see it for real, and it is something that everybody should try at least once.
